I live in New Britain and found myself in Watertown, in the rain, when my windshield wipers broke. It was a Sunday and these mechanics were obviously booked up, all the bays were full and they still took the time to take a look at my car. Mike actually got a flashlight to show me the damage so I would understand the repairs needed. I drove back a day later, when my part arrived to have the work done there because they were so wonderful to me on my first visit. I would HIGHLY recommend them, and their trustworthy, respectful and friendly service. Thank you again!
I took my car into Monro after the brakes started making funny noises. I had been to other mechanic shops before and they told me it was nothing to worry about or that it was only minor repair work. Turns out, my car needed the entire brakes replaced! It was an expensive process, but the service manager, Joe Elwell, was such a big help. For the first time, it did not feel like I was being scammed by a mechanic. Joe explained in very simple terms what needed to be done to fix my car and really went above and beyond to ensure that everything was taken care of. I stopped by the Watertown Monro on a Sunday morning and was absolutely thrilled with the quick, friendly and completely professional environment that I was met with. I'd had a nail in my tire for over a month that was a slow leak but not an emergency and with only a few minutes to spare I decided to see if they would be able to patch and plug the tire while I waited. Not only did they get me back on the road in less than a half an hour, they provided a clean and friendly waiting area with free wifi while I waited. Terrific service!

Had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful, polite, friendly, charming staff member named Joe Elwell when I went in for a routine oil change in my vehicle. He was knowledgeable and helped me get in and out as quickly as possible as well as answered several future maintenance questions I had. I got a great price and actually might even keep up with my oil changes more frequently if I have the chance to visit with him again. What a great experience.
