I love the walking trails here. My kids have had fun every time we go. While this isn't especially nicer than our usual place, it is a nice occasional visit for a change. Easy to recommend.

I have always loved this beautiful park in Thomaston! Clean, well kept grounds and changing rooms. Great trails to follow. The water is spring fed and enjoyable.

Great place for camping, swimming, fishing, boating and hiking. The campsites and cabins are really nice, and the bathrooms are really clean. The beach is really nice. My family goes camping all the time there, best place in CT. Very close to a shul in Waterbury. Overall it's a very amazing place.

I go camping at Black Rock State Park because it is beautiful! Showers, bathrooms, swimming at the lake, hiking paths, and rental cabins are all accessible here. Tent camping and fire pits are my way and Black Rock has been my go to place and joy for the past four years. I highly recommend it.

I actually feel this should be a 3 1/2 star so to how uncomfortable I felt in the restrooms, when it came to the showers. For the most part not having the proper material for ideal camping, and I found pretty much everyone here not to be friendly around here. ( except for the wonderful few which the others should learn from them. Other than that I really love the campsite and beach. The campsites have both grass and none. I like the trails and you can fish. Alway remember to check the rules.
